Insurance Backed Guarantees give absolute reassurance to consumers. They are an insurance policy that is paid for by the installing contractor to give vital protection to the home improvement investment.

An IBG will honour the terms of the written guarantee, originally issued by the installing contractor, where that contractor has ceased to trade as defined within the policy document and is, therefore, unable to satisfy claims against that guarantee.

Member Benefits

Working closely with their contractor members, QANW has created a benefits package to help installers get the most out of their IBG scheme membership. This includes a Trade Point Discount Card which gives them 10 percent off every purchase, special deals on fuel cards and discounted rates on employment law service, lead generation services and cyber security insurance.

Working with Other Organisations

As well as working directly with contractors, QANW has lots of experience supporting product manufacturers, trade associations and membership bodies with bespoke designed insurance schemes for their businesses. For example, if an IBG is a requirement of an organisation’s Competent Persons Scheme or an added benefit for an installer network scheme, QANW can help with a bespoke package to suit your model. Plus, QANW makes it easy and straightforward for contractors to register jobs and organisations can promote the additional member benefits as their own.
