Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) new Housing Maintenance & Repair Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) went live to buyers on the 24th of January 2023.
What is the DPS?
The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) provides a compliant, one-stop shop for all aspects of housing maintenance & repair services for both tenanted and void/vacant properties. Featuring a vast range of both planned and reactive maintenance & repair services, the agreement also provides access to essential compliance services such as fire safety, electrical testing & asbestos management.
It can help tenants save on their energy bills and allow buyers to achieve Carbon Net Zero goals with PAS 2030/35 certified suppliers offering Whole Home Retrofit services.
We also have the Housing Portfolio Management service offering, for buyers looking to manage their housing stock and handle areas such as move-ins/outs, disposals and put in place a centralised service to manage and fulfil repair requests.
How can it help?
Extensive industry engagement with suppliers of all sizes across the UK has led to us developing a fit-for-purpose solution which aims to provide buyers with the right trades and suppliers for any requirement. For suppliers, it presents a huge opportunity to gain access to crucial public sector contracts and deliver vital services. It is built to attract smaller organisations, as well as larger companies, being split down to a granular service level, allowing individual trades and specialisms to sign up for exactly what they are able to deliver.
We are extremely grateful to have worked with a variety of stakeholders including the National Home Improvement Council to streamline the onboarding process, removing unnecessary hurdles and making it easier, especially for smaller organisations, to onboard and gain access to opportunities through the DPS.
What are the benefits?
- allows buyers access to a comprehensive range of housing repair & maintenance services, all from within a single agreement.
