As its name suggests, the Sanicompact is a clever combination of a vitreous china toilet bowl and a quiet, powerful macerator pump, all in one unit.
As it doesn’t rely on gravity, at the press of a button an electrically operated macerator pump disposes of waste through a 32mm pipe up to 3m vertically and 30m horizontally, or a lesser combination of both.
What’s more it uses only 3.6 litres of water per flush. So it is one of the most water conservation conscious toilets around! And when the pump stops after about seven seconds the bowl is automatically filled with fresh water.
Sanicompact requires a minimum of 1.7 bar water supply pressure and is connected to the domestic water supply therefore eliminating the need for a cistern.
The unit will also handle waste water from a nearby wash basin, making it ideal for a small closet-cum-cloakroom. It is especially appropriate for confined spaces, and anywhere where it is a problem to directly access the main waste system.
