Numbers of TrustMark tradesmen viewed by UK home improvers affected by bad weather

by | Feb 10, 2013 | Uncategorized

According to the latest TrustMark on-line database statistics for January 2013, details show 265,988 tradesmen were interrogated. This was across all trades and represented a reduction of 15%, compared with the same month in 2012.

This drop is thought to have been caused by the severe weather conditions across the UK during a large part of January, which prevented tradesmen and householders carrying out or arranging domestic work.

The number of ‘searchable licensed trades’ across all TrustMark member firms now stands at 22,845. These figures are obtained from the ‘postcode search’ facility on the TrustMark website, which is the reason the majority of visitors come to TrustMark.
