Hayley Lorimer

Hayley Lorimer is Director of Membership Services at the Federation of Master Builders, and has had a long career with FMB, being previously Southern Regional Director and Head of Training.

This followed a time working in education, and Hayley is particularly committed to providing opportunities for SMEs in the home improvement sector to increase their knowledge and skills.

One of the reasons that Hayley is enthusiastic about lifelong learning opportunities is that she obtained her first degree and subsequent post-graduate qualifications as a mature student through the Open University, which she describes a life-changing experience.

Hayley lives in York and enjoys the city’s rich heritage and historic built environment.
