NHIC Parliamentary Lunch Looks ahead at Housing and RMI

Members of the National Home Improvement Council (NHIC) and their guests attended a special luncheon in the House of Commons on 7th July 2014.

As we move towards a general election next year the event provided an opportunity to consider current and possible future government initiatives likely to have an impact on both industry and the consumer.

Those present welcomed the opportunity to hear from principal guest speaker Emma Reynolds MP, Shadow Housing Minister, who took questions from the room, and Gary Fulford, Chief Executive, Walsall Housing Group, who spoke from a practitioners perspective.

Following lunch members and guests continued to debate and took the opportunity for networking in the unique environment of this historic venue.
