NHIC & Innovate UK: Installer Voice Registration

Join us in a major new project from the National Home Improvement Council (NHIC) and Innovate UK to put the installer voice at the heart of future funding and innovation.

If you’re an installer – plumber, electrician, heating engineer, retrofit specialist, builder, or multi-trade SME – this is your chance to help shape the systems, tools, and support that will be funded from 2026 onwards.

What’s involved?
✅ A 45-minute online roundtable (Zoom or MS Teams)
✅ Share your experiences – what’s working, what’s not
✅ Have your say on how funding, admin and customer processes could work better
✅ Input will directly influence Innovate UK’s 2026 innovation and funding priorities

All sessions are now full

Your voice is still needed and important to us.  We have launched a short Installer Voice Survey to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and what support would genuinely help installers deliver great work for customers.

If you’re a plumber, heating engineer, electrician, builder, renewables/retrofit specialist or multi-trade SME, please take 10 minutes to share your experience.

Complete the survey here: https://form.typeform.com/to/czHrd8ca

Why take part?
Installers are on the front line of home improvement – spotting issues, recommending fixes, and making upgrades happen. But too often, the system works around you, not with you. This is your chance to shape practical change.

How to join:
Just register for a session that suits your trade and availability – spaces are limited and will go quickly.  Use the registration form below.

🕑 Sessions run across the first week of November
📅 Deadline to register: Tuesday 4th December 2025

Let’s make sure your voice is heard – and your daily challenges turned into real solutions.

Thank you for helping drive better outcomes for the installer community.
